I'm a business-minded fractional General Counsel and operator with over a decade of experience spanning prestigious law firms, venture capital, and entrepreneurial ventures. My career path combines sophisticated legal expertise with hands-on operational leadership, allowing me to provide business-focused legal solutions that drive growth while effectively managing risk for startups and small businesses.

My journey began at two large law firms—Bryan Cave and Polsinelli—where I spent six years specializing in M&A, venture capital, and general outside counsel work. This foundation gave me a strong understanding of complex legal frameworks, but I soon realized my passion lay in directly contributing to business teams.

This led me to SixThirty Ventures, where I served as both General Counsel and Director of Operations. There, I managed everything from portfolio company investments and fund formation to compliance and global back-office operations. My multifaceted role helped scale the firm's assets under management from $25 million to nearly $100 million. A defining moment came during the pandemic, when I successfully negotiated and closed investment transactions across five continents in a single month—a testament to my ability to execute complex deals in challenging environments.

At GB Entertainment, a global media production company, I served as COO and General Counsel, leading a dynamic team of 15 to produce In Depth—a nationally syndicated celebrity profile show featuring top-tier celebrities, sports stars, and business leaders like Jerry Seinfeld, Josh Brolin, Steve Young, and Howard Schultz. A standout achievement was leading the negotiation of international distribution deals and talent contracts—ensuring the show's global success.  

My dual business-legal experience has equipped me to provide practical legal advice informed by a firsthand understanding of the strategic decisions executives face. As someone who has made business decisions myself, I can anticipate needs and deliver guidance that resonates with the executive team in ways purely legal-focused attorneys often cannot—an invaluable perspective.
